Newspaper Effect Tutorial
1. Open up Photoshop. I will be using this image.
2. Duplicate the image (Ctrl + J) and desaturate it (Ctrl+Shift+u). Go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and
change the brightness to -10 and the contrast to +40.
3. Make a new layer and set the blend mode to Screen. Fill up the layer with #A2B61F at 40%.
4. Make another layer, fill up with #1B1D4E, and set the blend mode to exclusion at 50%.
5. Make another new layer and fill it with #E48BA6 with a blend mode of Colour Burn.
6. If you want to keep the original image's colour a bit, duplicate the original image again, change the layer order
so that the duplicated image is on top. Set the blend mode to Soft Light.
