Ever wonder how other people have fancy fonts on their layouts? Where do they get them? This tutorial will explain how to
install your own fonts on to your computer.
Installing Fonts Tutorial
1. Go to your Start menu.
2. On the right hand side of the 2 columns, there should be a tab that says "Control Panel". Click that.
3. Once Control Panel opens up, look for a folder that says "Fonts" on it. Double click this. A list of fonts currently
installed in your computer will be shown in this folder.
4. Download your font. It could be from a graphic site or anywhere, I have some fonts you can download from my site
here. Some of the font files may need extracting, so extract them by
right-clicking the zip file, click "Winzip", then "Extract to here". If a window pops-up saying something about old updates, just
click "OK". Now your font is extracted! Woop.
5. Once your font is extracted, just drag your font file into the Fonts folder (step 3). And presto, you got your font
installed! Now you can use your new font in Microsoft Word etc., Photoshop, anywhere you use fonts.
